If time is money, then here’s a very valuable donation. So, if you’re a charity that needs help being heard, read on…

For one day a month, we’re giving a bit back by donating an entire day of our talented team’s time towards helping a small charity and their cause.

One day to change the world

That’s the driving desire behind our Give Back Day. Or at least to make a meaningful difference.

There are so many amazing small charities that don’t receive the support they deserve, so we’ve taken it upon ourselves to help get their voices heard and make a difference. Being a small, family-run agency, we can empathise with being a smaller fish in a big pond.

The problems we solve

We could help you:
• Form/tighten your Marketing Strategy
• Design a refreshed Brand Identity
• Tidy up your website
• Come up with ideas to raise awareness
• Produce an ad campaign (previously we’ve secured free ad space with The Guardian and The New York Times for charity clients)
• Or, even help you understand the complex and fragmented world of Marketing.

The bottom line is that we want to help you with what is most important to you. The right branding could lead to increased financial support. A user-friendly website could lead to additional funds raised. Or a well-executed ad campaign could lead to more interest from supporters who want to volunteer.

Our charity experience is plentiful and diverse. We recently oversaw a rebrand for The Felix Project, building them a new fully integrated, responsive website and helping them raise over £1m for their Christmas charity appeal in the process. We went global with Unchartered Play, in a campaign that featured Mr B. Obama, Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Fernando Torres, David Villa, and many more. On a smaller scale, we helped Joseph Swims raise money for Hand in Hand for Syria and the Haiti Hospital Appeal get some cracking awareness and coverage.

But in terms of helping you and your charity, well, that could look like a whole load of different things. It all depends on what we help you diagnose that you need.

1. Introduce Yourself

We want to hear from you! Briefly introduce yourself and the charity you work for in an email. Based on your needs, timeline and our expertise we’ll shortlist charities for the next steps. If it seems like a good fit, we’ll get back to you with our briefing form.

2. Preparation

The briefing form is a dense document that requires a fuller background and a better understanding. It will capture nuggets of info regarding your objectives, audience, competitors and the like. We’ll then call you to talk through your goals and agree on the focus of the day. After our call, you leave it to us.

3. The Day Itself

The last Friday of the month, our agency will be dedicated to your cause with nothing but your end goal in mind. The entire Gasp team will get involved, and hand over something that will help propel you towards your targets and ultimately, raise a load of money for your great cause.
