School Sports Prospectus

The Brief

Whitgift wanted to create a unique sports prospectus in response to its reputation for producing world class sportsmen. Within this, our brief was to create images that encapsulate the achievements of the school’s students; something that was timeless and different, giving the reader something that no other school could. We needed to highlight their voluminous achievements without sounding boastful.

The Response

We decided to go down an illustrative route. We created unique, stand alone visuals that were individual pieces of art. They created energy, dynamism and demonstrated the brilliance of the school in the quality of the artwork.

Among the schools proudest alumni are: Victor Moses of Chelsea FC and Nigeria, Marland Yarde of London Irish RFC and England, and Lawrence Okoye of the San Francisco 49ers, and, prior to that, of the GB Athletics team in London 2012.

The Results

The illustrations bring to life the ‘excellence’ element of the school’s ‘Foundation to Excellence’ motto, showcasing those who exemplify one of the finest sporting programmes in the country. Full of deliberate movement and colour, they reflect the immersive experience of watching elite athletes in action.
